Fashionclash Festival Guided Tours

During the FASHIONCLASH Festival there’ll be an opportunity to excite your senses at the guided tours. Sign-up for Guided Tours,
limited number of people can join the tours. You can sign-up for the tour by emailing to, please mention in the subject which tour you’ll attend, tour 1, 2 or 3. The three guided tours will be the following:

Tour 1: ‘Behind the Scenes’ Tour | Friday 30 June, 13:00 – 13:45 at the SAMdecorfabriek.

Are you curious to see the preparations, backstage setting and find more about the festival? Founders and co-director of FASHIONCLASH, Nawie Kuiper and Branko Popovic, will provide a guided tour behind the scenes at the SAM-decorfabriek program.

Tour 2: Blind Walk by Mami Izumi | Friday 30 June at the SAMdecorfabriek.

The Blind Walk is a unique experimental performance in a public space where the audience and performers come together to co-create the performance. Guided by Mami Izumi, in this performance the audience will be walking around with their eyes closed in a public environment, the Fashion Makes Sense LAB-area.
The performance will be easy to join and combine with other activities in the festival. Do you want to be part of this unique experience?

Tour 3: ‘Fashion Makes Sense Sustainability Tour’ | Sunday July 2, 13:30 at Thiessen Wijnkopers. A tour by Elise Crutzen, fashion editor at Chapeau Magazine / Vogue Latin America.

Fairtrade, 100% transparent, ecological, biological, Re-made, locally-made, vintage… When is clothing exactly sustainable? And where can you purchase it in Maastricht?
Interested to take part in this intimate and interactive ‘conscious’ walk by fashion shops, ateliers and exhibitions, make sure to sign-up!

If you are not a student at UM step by the Holland Expat Centre South. They help every international in the Maastricht Region with all kind of issues.
