Trench with Moon Tapes and Bawrence of Aralia

TRENCH is a co-production between Kaleido and Muziekgieterij. We give both up-and-coming and local artists the big stage to showcase their work. Besides great live music we create a food and drink menu that suits the music to enhance the overall experience of the night. Dinner is always served between 20.00 and 21.00 and the drink of the night is available throughout the entire evening.

Moon Tapes (NL)
Moon Tapes are a dreampop/sunshine pop band from Amsterdam formed in 2014. They make dreamy songs with catchy reverb drenched riffs and vocals. After releasing their successful debut- single (mixed by Daniel James Schlett (DIIV, The Drums) and -EP, that got noticed by blogs all around the world, they made their national television debut on ‘De Wereld Draait Door’, played the famous Sziget festival and did supports for Ringo Deathstarr and CHEATAHS, amongst others. Their new second EP ‘Dos’, premiered by Noisey is out now!

Bawrence of Aralia (NL)
Bawrence of Aralia are a five-piece outfit, hailing from Maastricht, comprised of members of bands such as Amish Winehouse and the Jens Maurits Orchestra. Their music is the result of a rehearsal spree during the summer of 2016, which led to the recording of a first album, that is supposed to see the light of day later this year. Their guitar driven indie pop means to squeeze loads of melody, rythm and catchyness in short, compact songs.
