Topics in Translational Neuroscience: Sleep

Sleep is an important part of our daily routine – we spend about one-third of our lives doing it. Quality sleep – and getting enough of it at the right times – is as essential to survival as food and water. Without sleep you cannot form or maintain the pathways in your brain that let you learn and create new memories. It also makes it harder to concentrate, and respond quickly. Clearly, sleep is a complex and dynamic process that affects how you function in ways scientists are now only beginning to understand. For our external PhD's of MHeNs and PhD's of other EURON partners, we would like to offer this workshop in a hybrid version. If enough people are joining online there will be one online group for the interactive part.
