It is a good way to be present, ready, focused, and loving. It is an hour of guided meditation and relaxation with Petra in which the experience of meditation is the most important. Petra Körmendy has been teaching meditation for more than 10 years, she is trained in different meditation traditions, such as vipassana, Sufi, zen, mantra, kriya, tantra, and several Christian meditation techniques. She teaches the basics of enabling your heart to feel, your mind to silence, and your whole being to open. The goal is to make you think about what is most important to you, to provide insights in your health and well-being and in what ways you might want or be able to strengthen this. After following this workshop, you are able to: • Take a broader look at health and wellbeing • Find out how you experience your health • Gain insight into your resilience • Try out new ways to further develop your resilience and health • Take control yourself to deal with the physical, emotional and social challenges in life 15:30 - 17:00 | Creativity by Arie van der Lugt, associate professor, sect. Teaching & Innovation of Learning | Location to be determined At its heart, creativity is simply the production of novel, appropriate ideas in any realm of human activity, from science to the arts, to education, to business, to everyday life. The ideas must be novel—different from what's been done before—but they can't be simply bizarre; they must be appropriate to the problem or opportunity presented. In this workshop, the creative process will be introduced through a few brief exercises. This is thanks to a series of activities and group discussions that create the needed environment, knowledge, compassion, and vulnerability. Finally, you actually practice such a conversation during the workshop.
