ALMA Snow Event Membership: Sports / Gym / All-in-one UM SPORTS is going to SnowWorld! Fancy an international evening of skiing or snowboarding together with students from the universities of Aachen, Liège, Hasselt and Maastricht? Join us on a trip to SnowWorld on Tuesday 15 November and let's kick off the winter season together! Both newbies and experienced skiers are welcome to join us! During this evening, you will be able to ski or snowboard independently for 4 hours. A get-together in the ski huts on the other side of the slopes will put you in a good mood, create a social atmosphere and ensure a great night out. Lessons You can also sign up for (beginners) snowboard or ski lessons. Please note: There are limited spaces available, so make sure you sign up for the correct activity below if you want to take a class. Price: € 27.50 (including entrance fee, bus transportation, helmet, skis/snowboard and matching shoes). Non-refundable. Clothing and material: In the hall is a constant temperature of – 5 oC, warm clothing or skiclothing are advised. A helmet and gloves are mandatory. Ski's/snowboard, shoes and a helmet will be provided by SnowWorld. It is also possible to bring your own material. Gloves (mandatory; also for sale at Snowworld for €7,50) Ski / Snowboard clothing (for rent at Snowworld for €11,-) Transport: At 18.00 busses depart from UM SPORTS to Landgraaf, the bustrip is included in the price. We assume that you travel with us. If you'd like to go with your own transport, please send us an e-mail including the number plate. Please note: Participation is at your own risk. There is no additional insurance coverage when participating in this event. We strongly recommend acquiring your own insurance protection.
