We’re looking for a new social media expert to join our team for an average of 5 hours per week as of September 1st. You will earn 17,93 gross per hour. Best if you’re a student yourself! You’d be joining a tiny little team of highly motivated people – below you can see a job description of the open position.

Function description

As promotion coordinator you are in charge of’s promotion, both offline and online. In a way you could consider yourself the face of You are in charge of all of our social media channels, and it is up to you to develop a good strategy to increase our overall reach. You will also be in charge of the smartphone (work in progress…) – this makes things easier for you as you will no longer have to switch accounts on your own smartphone.

  1. Take care of Facebook account
  2. Take care of Instagram account
  3. Take care of Twitter account
  4. Extend our network
  5. Manage & distribute offline promotion material


Please Note

Please bear in mind that we are a small team. This means that there will undoubtedly be tasks and to-do’s assigned to you that don’t fit the job description per se. I guess that could be seen as a downside of a small team. However, the pro’s of a small team definitely outweigh the con’s. A small team means for you: team outings once a month, being involved in the strategic development of the platform, being involved in brainstorms and creative sessions about the future of… the list goes on. We very much value creative input and love it when team members come up innovative ideas.

If you are not a student at UM step by the Holland Expat Centre South. They help every international in the Maastricht Region with all kind of issues.
