Saturday 4 February is World Cancer Day and we as Students Fight Cancer Maastricht want to reflect on that. On this day, the Sint Servaas Basilica on the Vrijthof and the Sint Matthias church on the Market will therefore be filled with a sea of candles. You too can light a candle! This is how we think of the people who have or are currently affected by the disease. By donating an amount of your choice, you can come and light a candle yourself, we can light one for you. All proceeds from this day will go to cancer research at the MUMC+ Maastricht. Who are you thinking of?
You can walk by at the Sint Servaas Basilica between 11:30 and 15:00. You can also light a candle after the service at the Sint Matthias Church at 19:00.
