Public transport is a great way to get around both in Maastricht and throughout the Netherlands. Within the city you can catch a public bus. If you want to travel around the Netherlands, you may want to look into trains and Flixbuses. To use public transport you may want to purchase a travel card, the OV chip card, which will make your life easier and journey smoother.
