Public transport infrastructure in the Netherlands is highly functional and is a great way to get around both Maastricht and the Netherlands.
Within the city you can catch a public bus. If you want to travel further, you can take trains and Flixbuses. To use public transport we recommend purchasing a travel card, the OV-chip card. OV stands for Openbaar Vervoer, which means public transportation in Dutch.
