Getting to Maastricht by train is handy if you are coming from elsewhere in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany. Maastricht is well-connected within the railroad network and catching a train is often fast and easy. There are direct trains to other cities in the Netherlands such as Amsterdam, Utrecht and Eindhoven as well as international trains to Germany and Belgium.
